Great Gray owl hunting in snowby ~gregster09

On my one visit there were some very heavy snow flurries moving through. By the end my camera was soaked and had snow caked to it! It was quite atmospheric and a special experience to see these incredible predators hunting in rather appropriate conditions given that they are northern owls.

Great Gray owl hunting in snow by *gregster09 Greg's work really needs no introduction, having already interviews him for the "Photography-APN Professional Series", his work is some of the best when it comes to wildlife, and this shot is nothing short of amazing!
